To ensure that your knitwear continues to bring you joy for longer, MaiMai offers a dedicated care and repair service for our own knitwear. Our goal is to preserve the beauty and quality of MaiMai knits, allowing you to wear them with joy season after season.
What We Offer
By bringing or sending your knitwear to our Ikšķile workshop, we will care for it with the same attention as the new knits crafted in our atelier.

Gentle washing – a delicate cleaning process that preserves the softness and structure of the fabric.
(For heavier stains, we recommend professional dry cleaning.) - Air drying – naturally, to maintain fibre elasticity and longevity.
- Depilling – restoring the surface of the knit to a fresh, smooth appearance.
- Steaming & ironing – to maintain shape and ensure a polished look.
- Repairing – carefully restoring damaged areas if needed.
The refresh service starts at €12 per item, while repair costs depend on the extent of the work required.

To ensure precise repair work:
- Mark any areas needing repairs with a contrasting thread.
- Include a note detailing the requested services and your contact information.
Once we receive your knitwear, we will assess the work needed and contact you regarding the repair or refresh process.
